    Solid construction, minor quibble

    The pan itself is fantastic—heavy-duty stainless that heats evenly. The thermometer is accurate. My only reason for 4 stars is that the mounting brackets for the valve felt a bit light compared to the pan, but they've held up fine through my first season. Overall, a great product that improved my syrup-making.
