Truly excellent log splitter, along with a great work out. Can split some pretty large diameter logs too!
Love it. It does the job. All different diameter size logs. Goes pretty quick. Great investment.
This little log splitter is a BEAST. It chews through 12" diameter Maple logs without [ME] breaking a sweat. Cons first- well, I guess you could say it's slow. Meh. It's using hydraulic advantage and my rotator cuffs aren't torn, so slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Pros- my unit is well-built. I've seen some reviews of guys who got shipped a Friday Afternoon model. Mine looks like Tuesday at 10am, because the welds are clean and tight, everything is square, and build quality overall is very good. It really DOES split this stuff easily. I just stand around thinking about how much I like candy and CRUUUUUUNNNNNCH, the log is split. So far I'm very impressed with this little unit. We're stocking up now for a Maine winter, so I'll update this review once we're full up, I'm right sideways, or this thing is stove up.
If you have a fire pit, you need this tool. It makes breaking down leftover logs so simple. No swinging dangerous blades around. Just drop the log in and tap it.
