I needed a 3 tier shelf to support up to 3-4 lithium solar backup batteries per shelf. Because the batteries are heavy, I needed a unit that could support the weight. This shelf does the job (they say it supports 700 lbs per shelf). It seems quite sturdy indeed. It’s not aesthetically pleasing as it’s meant for storage not beauty. But it’s not bad-looking for a storage shelf. I was disappointed in the poor assembly instructions which were just one page with very basic info. They lacked illustrations and steps. I give this unit 4 stars because of the poor instructions. Otherwise the unit is tip-top and will work quite well for me.
If you need to fix a chaotic garage or workshop, buy this 5-tier unit. It's tough, well-engineered, and incredibly reliable.
Really like that you can adjust the height of each individual shelf tier to fit larger machinery or small boxes.
It doesn't wobble at all when loaded down with heavy storage crates. The finish seems rugged and scratch-resistant.
