Absolutely love this item. Does a great job and is a lot more powerful than it looks. Cuts new tree growth like a charm. The batteries are long lasting too, kuldip I buy it again. Yes, except it’s so well made I probably won’t have to for many years. Highly recommend recommend this product.

I used this handy trimmer to prune and shape my shrubs and grasses and was very pleased with the ease of use. It was ergonomic as far as I am concerned, and handled the job easily. I don't think it would be the best tool to handle even the smallest tree branches, though. This is definitely for shrubs and grasses. None of my shrubs had branches greater than about 3/8". It's very light and was easy to maneuver. I'd recommend it for uses that I described above.

I used this to not only trim up my evergreen bushes, but also several other varieties of bushes on the landscaping around my house. The blades cut well and the branches don't get stuck between them.I have had that issue in the past with other hedge trimmers. I'll be going along cutting, and just a regular piece of the bush, that's not big at all, seems to jam the blades up and it stops and I have to pull it out.I've been doing spring cleanup all around my house this week and the hedge trimmers haven't jammed up at all. They cut smoothly and the results are very even, not choppy. We refer to it is giving the bushes out front their spring haircut. They look so much more cleaned up once they're done. They go from looking unruly to well manicured, and this trimmer did a good job of it.

The dual switch setup took a minute to get used to, but I actually prefer it now. Feels safer when carrying it around the yard.

This grass trimmer is great for quick yard touch ups. It’s lightweight and easy to control. My hands don’t get tired even after working for a while. The interchangeable blades make switching between grass trimming and hedge shaping simple, and the cut looks clean instead of ragged. I use it mostly around my flower beds and small shrubs, and it handles those areas without snagging. The rechargeable batteries last long enough for multiple small jobs, and having two batteries means I can keep going without waiting for a recharge. I like not dealing with cords since it gives me freedom to move around the yard easily. Overall it’s convenient and practical for regular maintenance, especially if you want something quick and easy.

As you can see, I let my hedges get a little out of control. I've been living in this house since 2023 and never trimmed them back. I kept putting it off until the recent snows when you couldn't make it through the walkway without brushing up against the hedge, causing snow to fall on you and run down your back.Enter this GARVEE hedge trimmer. I trimmed the hedge back "severely" enough to clear the entire walkway. I know I didn't do the prettiest job of it, but it's a nice clean line and only took about 10-15 minutes. Having the extra long trimming blade makes a big difference compared to small clippers. First, you cover more ground at once, making the job faster. And second, because the blade is long, it makes it easier to get a straight, even cut.Power was no problem. I only had to a small percentage of one battery, and it comes with 2 batteries, so I suspect I could have trimmed for hours without stopping to recharge. The only weird part is the way you charge the batteries -- the charger plug has a barrel connector that plugs directly into the battery connector seat, and it took me forever to figure that out. See picture for how to do it. I wish the batteries took a USB-C phone charger connection in stead of a proprietary barrel connector, so I wouldn't have to worry about losing this charger. But it is what it is, not the end of the world.The trimmer easily cut through branches up to about 1/2" (see pic) with no complaints. It never got bogged down or could not cut through something. Any branch that fit into the gaps on the blade comb got sliced instantly. I'm very happy with that part of it.Package included trimmer, blade guard, 2 batteries (2.0Ah each, 20V), instructions and the battery charger. This is a great tool for the job. Recommended.
