This unit is great! Excellent value and works better than my black and decker unit. It cools a large bedroom down quickly and without fuss. The remote is convenient and handy.
The ac seems to cool my cottage reasonably well. I was looking for a truly portable and duct less solution. I have very few windows that are suitable. So not sure I would classify it as portable. I tried it without the exhaust and vented it into the foyer I have a door betw the foyer and the main cottage. To get better performance I have a sliding patio door, I'll try it there next
