Very good ac keeps room freezing

It came with no damage. I have it running on 70 and it keeps my whole room cold .I absolutely love it. I bought a bigger one so that way if I want to put it downstairs, I could keep the whole downstairs cool. I would recommend.

Portable AC works well and can be moved around since it is on wheels. Glides easily. Option to blow cool but you need to vent outdoors on this mode. Use “dry” mode to remove dampness from room/basement (also must vent outdoors. Unit also has a fan mode that doesn’t need venting. This blows super well. Powerful on low and WOW on high. Change mode or speed using remote. Has timer and “auto” for cool mode. Great for individual rooms, garage or use during power outages (with generator that is not included).

We appreciate the straightforward LED display and washable filter. Between the timer, remote and 3‑in‑1 modes, it hits that sweet spot of being powerful without feeling fussy.

Our third‑floor bedroom used to be an oven every June. This 12,000 BTU unit finally keeps it under control, and the low‑noise design means we can actually sleep with it running.

Between the AC, fan, and dehumidifier modes, we use this almost daily once the weather turns. Self‑evap and the washable filter make maintenance simple, even for lazy owners.

We didn’t want to mess with the existing ducts, so this portable has been ideal. Window kit went in tool‑free and we can shift it between the living room and bedroom as needed.

Cooling and dehumidifier are excellent, but the casters snag a little on thicker carpet. On hardwood and tile it moves fine, just takes a bit more effort on rugs.

Absolutely tames our top‑floor bedroom during humid Montréal nights. Just keep in mind it’s a decent‑sized unit, so you’ll want a corner or closet to park it in winter.

On rainy spring days we mostly use the dry and fan modes. Air feels fresher and less heavy, and rinsing the filter every couple of weeks is quick, even for someone not very handy.
