Different boom holes are perfect for balancing reach and capacity.

Replaced the boom, pivot, and ram bolts with hitch pins so it can easily be taken apart and loaded into truck and set up on site. Takes 5 minutes to take apart using hitch pins. Unboxing and assembly took less than 45 minutes, mostly bolting wheels on.Assembly notes....2 smaller wheels go on front of base, there are counter sunk holes that fit the bugle head screws.. pay attention to that.. 4 larger wheels go on back of basee and the two front outriggers.The 2 support straps might need the ends bent slightly to fit post and base. If you get bolts on they will clamp down, but is easier if bent slightly like in parts diagram.Assemble base first with outriggers installed and pinned in place.Keep boom extension out, install main boom part first.Install ram next and raise boom to horizontal before sliding and bolting extension in.And you aready to use it. You might need to raise and lower a few times to get fluids and air in right places.I got this to lift equipment onto trailer or service bed truck. Works great for that! Probably wouldn't use in constant auto shop use but for home use it is budget friendly.

I like the wide base and locking casters. Once I set the legs and lock the wheels, it feels planted, even when the engine is swung slightly to one side while lining up motor mounts.

Six casters make a big difference. I can inch the engine and hoist around the shop by myself without feeling like it’s going to tip or dig into the concrete.

This 2 ton hoist handled a diesel long block without drama. Pump strokes are smooth, no sudden drops, and the boom positions give good reach over the fenders of my 3/4-ton truck.

For the price, the welds, paint, and hardware are impressive. Assembly took a bit, but all the holes lined up and it’s been a reliable workhorse in my home garage.

Feels like the shop cranes I’ve used at work. Heavy steel, smooth hydraulics, and the cherry picker style makes engine removal way less stressful when you’re working in a driveway.
