Easy to build and perfect size

Great bookshelf - strong and sturdy!

I felt compelled to write a review here for this bookcase. The photos online looked nice but the price was almost too good to be true when compared to others I'd been looking at.

Well, I ordered 3 and while there are a LOT of pieces to put together, the bookshelf is SUPER heavy and well made. Definitely not a lightweight piece of junk. The directions to put together are excellent and all of the predrilled holes and parts were perfect. Each unit will take maybe 2-3 hours to put together. I did the first one by itself and when my other 2 arrived, I got really organized and did them at the same time, side by side to save some time.

My only piece of advice is to really look at the drawings carefully because there are a couple of pieces you could put on backwards if you're not careful. Also, when the top gets placed on the base, you'll likely need another person to help you if you aren't tall and/or strong.

Highly recommend!!!

Practical design with a nice vintage touch

Great value bookshelf for a cozy living room

For the price, the finish and stability are impressive. It looks like something from a boutique shop, not flat-pack, and the height draws the eye up, which makes the room feel a bit bigger.

Perfect for mixing books and decor pieces

I styled it with novels, framed photos, and a couple of plants. The adjustable shelves let me play around with the layout until it felt right, and it turned an unused corner into a feature.

Solid shelf, wish the surface was a bit thicker

Overall very sturdy and stable once everything is tightened. The boards are strong enough for books, though I wouldn’t overload a single shelf with all the heaviest items in one spot.

Farmhouse style that doesn’t feel too heavy

The rustic grey finish adds character without making the room feel dark. I like the wooden legs and crossbars; they give a nice touch and the shelves don’t sag under my heavier hardcovers.

Great storage for a small home office

I use it for reference books, storage boxes, and a printer on the top. It doesn’t stick out too far, which is perfect for a tighter office space, and it really helps keep things off the floor.
