This GARVEE portable AC works better than I expected. Installation and set up are very easy. It comes with a window kit and the hose screws on to the adapters and those snap in. I used one screw, which was included. It is quiet and the controls, remote and buttons are easy to use. It cools well and the swing feature is nice. It does everything it says it will do. It's also small and light weight, making it easy to move. Only time will tell how long it will last. Right now, I feel like I got an excellent bargain.

This portable air conditioner was just what my home small office needed. If you take calls like I do from home, you will need noise canceling headset so the fan noise doesn't interfere. None of my clients ever hear the air conditioner through my microphone! That's what is most important to me! Keeps my room at a comfortable temperature and I love how easy it was to setup!

Well worth the money... My first ever portable a.c unit... Got the 8,000 BTU version.. Blows out ice cold air, very small an compact, nice an quiet, just what I needed for my mancave which is about a full size living room!!

So glad I bought this! I went from sweating in places nobody should ever sweat into needing to grab a blanket and wrap up like a burrito. Heat investment if you live in an older house with no central air. The remote control that comes with it makes it ideal for those who have chronic pain and getting up to turn it down or anything else makes the pain ten times worse. The noise level isn’t bad at all it’s just like a fan… the perfect white noise to go to sleep to. It was super easy to install, however I do recommend that the company also start using oval shaped vent tubes just in case you need to fit it in between something. I haven’t seen any water leaking from it so that’s a great thing, actually that’s a huge plus. The Ac quality is AMAZING and last but not least the functionality of the entire thing is GREAT! The buttons are easy to read and see. Definitely a 10/10 highly recommend product.

Cold air so far! The window kit is short,max is 48 inches, no batteries are included with remote. Romote is cheap. Noise sound is like a hotel air unit, a little loud. As long as it cools I am good. Has wheels to move around.

So far, so good! Installation was easy enough even though the instructions for the window piece and the screws could use some work. I don’t find it to be any louder than an AC unit in a US hotel room so it doesn’t bother me at all. It’s in my ~200 sqft bedroom and basically sounds like white noise. Hopefully it survives the southern summer!

For the price, you get strong cooling, a proper dehumidifier, and simple controls. In a 1‑bed rental or dorm room, it feels like a smart, very Canadian‑summer kind of purchase.

On max fan it’s definitely noticeable, especially during quiet movies. We usually blast it on high for a while, then switch to low or sleep and it maintains the temperature fine.
